Costumes For Halloween


In the mid-1800s…combining Irish and English traditions…the story of Halloween began with Americans by creating and wearing costumes of their choice and going door-to-door of their neighbours and emerged among major carnival costume ideas.

Brazilian Carnival


The Carnival of Brazil is an annual festival that is held every year forty-six days before Easter. Carnival celebrations  have roots in the festival of Saturnalia, which, adapted to Christianity, became a farewell to bad things in a season of religious discipline to practice repentance and prepare for Christ's death and resurrection

Rhythm, participation, and costumes vary from one region of Brazil to another. In the southeastern cities huge organized parades are led by samba schools. The northeastern cities of Salvador have organized groups parading through streets, and public interacts directly with them. This carnival is heavily influenced by African-Brazilian culture. CARNIVAL COSTUMES
